Products & Services

We design and produce: LavaTM custom implant abutments, LavaTM DVS Full Countour Crowns. LavaTM Crowns and Bridges, and 3M EssentialTM Zirconia single copings and up to 3 unit bridges.

LavaTM from 3M ESPE is the leading brand in CAD/CAM-produced zirconia restorations. We produce LavaTM copings and frameworks from our scans of your modelwork or from your own LavaTMST scanner, 3Shape scanner or Dental Wings scanner. Click logo for set up instructions.

Procera

We produce Procera abutments, copings and bridges:

NobelProcera prosthetic components are produced from acrylic, alumina, zirconia, titanium and cobalt chromium — for optimal esthetics and clinical results.

NobelProcera. Only the finest materials.

Acrylic (Telio® CAD by NobelProcera)

Telio® CAD* by NobelProcera provisional solutions in acrylic are cost-effective and offer excellent marginal integrity and good wear characteristics. All restorations are milled from a homogeneous bloc resulting in extraordinary strength.

The material has lifelike fluorescence and is available in six shades (four A shades and two bleaching shades) and additional characterization is possible with light-cured composite stains and glazes.

Alumina

NobelProcera Alumina's high translucency makes it ideal for solutions in esthetically demanding areas. This material has proven, long-term clinical success in both single-tooth restorations and anterior 2-4 unit bridges.

Zirconia

NobelProcera Zirconia is the ceramic material of choice for strong and highly esthetic restorations. Frameworks in Zirconia are available for cement- and screw-retained solutions on teeth and implants from single-unit to multi-unit restorations. Zirconia displays excellent biocompatibility with significant reduction of plaque and bacterial adhesion on surfaces.

Industrial material shading (available in four shades: white, light, medium, intense) guarantees consistent color and strength values of the material.

Titanium

NobelProcera Titanium is highly biocompatible and produces excellent soft tissue response. This material represents an excellent alternative in cases where the clinical situation limits the application of Zirconia frameworks.

NobelProcera Titanium restorations are milled from a solid monobloc for extraordinary strength and precision of fit. NobelProcera Titanium offers a cost-efficient alternative to casted PFMs for temporary and final prosthetics.

Base Metal Alloy Cobalt Chromium

NobelProcera Base Metal Alloy Cobalt Chromium represents an excellent alternative in cases where the clinical situation limits the application of Zirconia frameworks.

Cobalt chromium restorations are milled from a solid monobloc for extraordinary strength and precision of fit and are both biocompatible and nickel, cadmium and beryllium-free. Cobalt chromium frameworks combine cost-efficiency and exceptional quality.

Lava zirconia crowns and bridges can be sent for remote milling using the following dental scanners:

  • Lava ST Scanner
  • 3Shape Scanner
  • DentalWings Scanner

Getting started is easy.

For 3Shape Scanners

3Shape Scanner Models D250, D640, D700 and D710 can all generate the 3M scan/design output for Lava zirconia, provided this feature is not disabled by your reseller.

Installation: 3Shape Scanners

  1. Request your 3Shape reseller to send you the "LavaMaterial ver 4_0.dme" and to enable the 3M lava output on the dongle.
  2. Install the 3Shape Dental System 2.5.12 or higher. If already installed, update the dongle in the 3Shape Control Panel/Dongle/Internet Update.
  3. Obtain the "LavaMaterial ver 4-0.dme" files and import all materials using 3Shape Control Panel/Imports-Export Material/Import. Accept all materials. It is critical that the import is successful.

How to Generate 3Shape Design Output for 3M Lava Materials

  1. Create a new order in DentalManager, select indication and the Lava material "Lava zirconia"
  2. Perform the scanning as usual. The Lava quality regarding fit or restoration can only be ensured with a perfect and highly precise scan of the die cut model.
  3. Perform the Cad design as usual using suggested Lava Material settings. Please note the warning in your CAD Software for wall thickness, connector dimensions etc. are not necessarily applicable for Lava restorations. The requirements are described in the instruction for use "Lava Network Open Interface."
  4. After completing the CAD design, click on the order in DentalManager and create Lava output file(generate Cam output). This file (ULDC file) can be found in the normal manufacturing output folder(<shift> F4 in DentalManager on the order).
  5. The ULDC file can then be imported into Lava Design software using the Lava CAD import workflow.

For Dental Wings Scanners

Dental Wings scanners 5-Series and DentalWings scanner 3-Series can all generate the 3M scan/design output Lava zirconia, provided this feature is not disabled by your reseller. Lava Design 5.40 or higher will be required.

Installation: DWOS Scanner

Install the DWOS Software Version 2.5.0.10431 or higher. All specific parameters will be material driven, no need to install further files. In the material management application view you should see three 3M branded material.

Generate DWOS DESIGN output for 3M Lava

Perform the following steps to generate a DWOS design output:

  1. Create a new order using the order receiving application-New sale order.
  2. Select indication and the Lava material-"Lava zirconia."
  3. Perform the scanning as usual. The Lava quality regarding fit or restoration can only be ensured with a perfect and highly precise scan of die cut model.
  4. Perform the Cad design as usual using suggested Lava Material settings. Please note the warning in your CAD Software for wall thickness, connector dimensions etc. are not necessarily applicable for Lava restorations. The requirements are described in the instruction for use "Lava Network Open Interface."
  5. After completing the CAD design, click on the 3M Export Button in the 3D view or click the order in Administration and export order to create Lava output file. This file (ULDC file) can be saved in the normal output file.
  6. The ULDC file can then be imported into Lava Design software using the Lava CAD import workflow.
